Congratulations to Brittany Avila on her partnership with The Artful Dodger. "Oliver" comes to us with quite an impressive resume with wins in the hunters at every major east coast horse show including Harrisburg, Capital Challenge, Vermont, Ocala and Saugerties. Brittany plans to show Oliver in the adult hunters and equitaiton in 2012, best wishes for a tremendous year Britt!

Kingsway offers a warm welcome to Lindsay and Sari Seewald and their beautiful Westphalian mare Lovesong and their adorable pony Riddle Me This. Lindsay is looking forward to showing Lovesong in the junior equitation and children's hunters this year before heading off to college in the fall. Welcome and best wishes for an outstanding 2012!

Congratulations to Jenny O'Donnell on her purchase of PICTURE ME, an outstanding four year old Dutch warmblood gelding by Samba Hit II. Recently imported to the states, "Nico" has had a tremendous show ring debut, with three shows under his belt, he was named baby green hunter champion at all three (Syracuse in April, St.Clement's Saratoga in May and Skidmore in June)! Jenny and Tommy plan to bring "Nico" along and show him in the hunter ring with their eyes on the hunter derbies and amateur owner hunters. A special thank you to Todd Karn for helping to bring us this wonderful youngster! Accolades Jenny!!!

Kudos to Team Kingsway on a fantastic August! We started the month at Fieldstone's one day on August 6th where Sohie Tyack qualified for the MHJ Finals and Theresa and Roxy, Marie and Brody, Olivia and Navy aand Heather and Vetall all had great showing despite the rain!!

From there we headed to the Vermont Summer Festival with Joe Ivil and Buddy-Weiser, Sophie Tyack and Flamenco 135, Sophie and Joan Hern's Ramzes, Heather Austin and Vetall, Ellen Park and Gira-Gi, Brittany Avila and Q and the farm's Wedgewood. Joe and Buddy proved themselves again with a fantastic ride in the 1.15M placing 4th out a huge field of competitors. Joe and Buddy had a fantastic class win in the Adult Jumpers later in the week after Joe was captivated by the falcon at the exhibitor's party at Hildene. Gira-Gi had an oustanding week, with Tommy she was champion in the schooling hunters with a huge class win over fences and in the under-saddle. GiGi continued her winning streak with Ellen Park with fantastic placings over fences and another under saddle win in the pre-children's hunters. Sophie Tyack had a tremendous week with both of her horses. She rode Joan her's Ramzes to the championship in the New England adult hunters for the second year in a row! Sophie and Flamenco 135 picked right up where the pair left off winning a huge class over fences in the adults! Tom Hern won a huge schooling hunter class on Heather Austin's Vetall.  In the eq ring, Brittany Avila and "Q" were fun to watch as they also picked up reserve championship honors in the 3' junior equitation with a big class win on the flat and fantastic ribbons over fences. Of course the week was filled with fun and we made our annual trip to the Sirloin Saloon to celebrate Joe's birthday. Congrats to everyone on a successful week!

August finished with a bang (and a hurricane) at Fieldstone's Summer Showcase and MHJ finals. The farm's Wedgewood had a tremendous trip in the 1.10M jumpers on the derby field and was 2nd in a very competitive field. Joining Tommy on the derby field Joe and Buddy had great trips in the C/A jumpers and were 8th in the classic on Saturday. Sophie and Joan Hern's Ramzes had another great week, with fantastic ribbons over fences in the modified adult hunters and a 6th place finish in the MHJ finals on Saturday. Sophie and Flamenco 135 kept up their winning streak, winning every class they entered, a trip in the special hunters and both trips in the modified adult hunters leading to the tri-color honors for Soph and CoCo which was a great finish for Sophie's summer before she heads back to Princeton. Tommy rode Ellen Park's Gira-Gi to fantastic ribbons in the low hunters and Ellen rode her wonderfully as well with big wins in the equitation, hunters and pleasure classes. Congrats to Ellen and GiGi on picking up the Smart Pak Circuit Championship honors. Theresa McGuire and Roxy had a great week as well, the pair got great ribbons in the modified adult hunter and equitation, qualifying for the MHJ adult mini-medal finals! Tom rode Marilyn Cocotas' fantastic gelding Gabriel's Fire to another tri-color honor in the low hunter division. Rounding out a great week, Olivia Rodrigues and First Mate were awarded wonderful ribbons in the walk trot division on Friday. Thank you to everyone who made the week a fun filled success!! What a tremendous summer of horse showing we have had so far!

In June we had a great time (despite the rain!) at Fieldstone's Plymouth Rock Classic. Tommy rode Marilyn Cocotas's Gabriel's Fire to champion honors in the low hunters with wins over fences and in the under saddle. Tom rode Elite Equine Imports Bie De Tiet ("BeBe") over his first baby green course and won a big class in excellent company. Tommy also rode Ellen Park's Gira-Gi in the pre-green hunters with excellent ribbons over fences and in the under saddle. Ellen then took over the reins on GiGi and was fantastic getting ribbons over fences her first time out! GiGi won several under saddles with Ellen proving that their partnership is going to be fun to watch! Sophie Tyack showed Joan Hern's Ramzes to great ribbons in the modified adult hunters and while Brittany was traveling in Europe she picked up the ride on Shaka Moon in the modified adult equitation with a 2nd in the MHJ adult mini adult. Joining Sophie in the equitation Marie Curtin and Last Hati had nice trips in the 3' adult medals and Marie continued her winning streak on What About Bob in the hunter pleasure. Olivia Rodrigues rode First Mate to great ribbons in the walk-trot equitation and pleasure.

Before we headed out to HITS Saugerties in July we had a great time at Fieldstone's one day. Olivia Rodrigues rode First Mate to the walk trot equitation championship. Ellen Park won a huge under saddle with Gira-Gi and received fantastic ribbons over fences as well.

Our trip to Saugerties was great fun! Not only did we have a lot of laughs but depsite the heat the horses were tremendous! Tom rode Gira-Gi in the schooling hunters with a huge under saddle blue ribbon win and a 3rd and 5th over fences. Ellen made her "away" horse show debut a memorable one with great ribbons over fences and culminating with a tremendous win (in the hunter staduim!!) in the hack out of 40! Sophie Tyack rode Ramzes to great ribbons all week including two 2nds in the Saugerties adult hunters. Jenny O'Donnell joined Sophie and picked up the catch ride on Emer Coyne's Lancer riding to  a big class win and the reserve championship in a very competivie division! The farm's Wedgewood had fast trips in the jumper ring. A big thank you to Lizzie Harriman who joined us for the week!

Before the month was over we headed to Grazing Fields for the Head of the Bay horse show where it was Joe Ivil and Buddy-Weiser's time to shine! Buddy and Joe were great to watch as Joe piloted Buddy to a big class win and the championship honors in the Child/Adult Jumpers! Great job Joe! Joining Joe and Buddy at Head of the Bay was Heather Austin and her new partner Vetall, they proved that they are going to be a great team with a 6th place finish in the special adult classic! Marie Curtin and Last Hati made their way to Head of the Bay and were fantastic in the adult equitation being awarded great ribbons in a big field of competitors

Congratulations are in order for Ellen Park on her partnership with Gira Gi a Hannoverian mare by Guaranotor out of Sonnet. Ellen is excited to show "GiGi" in the hunters and mini-medals and is anxious to watch Tommy show GiGi in the pre-green hunters and hunter derbies! Congrats to the Park Family on their new endeavor we are all so excited for you!

We are pleased to announce that Tom Hern Jr was approved by the USEF as a "r" jumper course designer on April 29, 2011. The jumper CD license is an excellent complement to his exisisting "R" USEF hunter course design license and allows Tommy to design grand-prixs with $25,000 in prize money. Well done Tommy!

Accolades to Liz Harriman on her lease of Kingsway's Oldenburg gelding Risky (Consul x Margarite). Lizzie plans to show Risky in the equitation and jumper rings in 2011. We are excited to watch this team in action and expect great things from them! Congratulations Lizzie!

Kudos to all on a great showing at Fieldstone’s April AA horse show! Making her show ring debut, Olivia Rodriguez really rose to the occasion aboard the farm’s First Mate she rode to three class wins in the walk trot division! Brittany Avila and Shaka Moon were res champion in the children’s equitation. Jenny O’Donnell and Temptation were champion on Saturday before she flew out to attend a conference in Chicago. Tom Hern rode Joan Hern’s Ramzes to a class win and Marilyn Cocotas’ Gabriel’s Fire to the res championship in the special hunters. Lizzie Harriman picked up the ride on Joan Hern's Ramzes and were awarded nice ribbons. We all had a great time with Liz Palmer who surprised us with a visit from Maine. Congratulations to everyone and a big thank you to Megan and Bridget who helped keep everything running smoothly! Kudos Team Kingsway, Keep Up the Momentum!
